THE HUB

Our web design process is centered at the “hub”, monitored by the pixels. The pixels embody the being and existence of our websites, without the pixels, we’ll dissolve into nothingness. So the hub and the pixels became inseparable, thus the “Pixelhub” came into being.

The hub is where the center of activity takes place. The hub is divided into FIVE HUB PROCESS ROOMS, where web design and development activities regularly take place.

Let’s open these rooms and take a peek inside each hub.

FIRST HUB: THE MEETING ROOM

Pixelhub New Media meets the client. This is where CLIENT’S OBJECTIVES are laid down in black and white. No gray areas must be left. Here, the client defines what they want. This gives us an opportunity to ask the right questions. Communicating the client’s corporate culture is the key element in determining how to effectively map out a highly functional and cost-effective website.

Project specifications will be thoroughly discussed where Pixelhub and the client agree to details. Timetables must be strictly followed by both parties to ensure the timely delivery of the finished website. A project specification form will be filled-up by the client such as definition of styles that they want to portray. This can be modern or traditional, hip and young or elegant, personal or professional, etc. Color schemes will be defined, as well as target audience, demographics and socio-graphics.

Options will be laid down before the client. Pixelhub will provide budget friendly suggestions on what web design feature suits their specific needs. Special features such as Flash Animation, additional modules, blogs, and database management will be agreed upon at Pixelhub’s meeting room.

Clients will be given access to a private URL where they can upload their files. It will also serve the purpose of a “viewing space” where they can view the progress of their websites during the staging and development stage of the project.

Now that specifications are clearly defined, we are now ready to proceed to the CONCEPT & DESIGN room.

SECOND HUB: THE CONCEPT & DESIGN ROOM

Creative people thrive in this room. Based on client’s specs, this is where imagination begins. Designers conceptualize designs, driven by inspiration and passion, giving birth to new websites. We don’t just “design”, we aim to bring the element of delight and surprise to each page that we create. We want to touch on the emotions. We designers become part of the web design. Every header, navigation and mainframe takes on a new meaning. Every client has his /her own stories to tell. We become their storytellers. Flash animations are presented through storyboards, as colors come alive. In this room every page that we create becomes our masterpiece.

Upon the client’s approval, the project will be passed on to the next room.

THIRD HUB: THE CONSTRUCTION ROOM

Dreamweaver, HTML, CSS, are our construction tools. Designs are now converted to language readable by the internet. Our brain works with fast web connectivity at top of mind, always finding ways to make your sites accessible at the fastest possible way. Everything we do is geared towards making your website visible on the net at the fastest time.

This is also an extension of the room for storytellers, where flash animator’s work closely with designers for the conversion of the static designs into moving graphics. Here, flash animation also takes center stage.

When your site requires constant updating, you need not worry about added costs for the maintenance of your site; we will input and implement content management system which will allow you to input new changes without the use of HTML. This way, your site remains active and fresh with your frequent updates.

FOURTH HUB: THE BACK ROOM

Back end programming is executed at the back room. As back end web programmers and developers, we aim to build strong and efficient web structures that focus on functionality. Here, everything is laid down in hard language. Administrative user levels, registration, login, input fields requirements, password and cookies are determined and marked up. Active forms are created while web administration tools and menus are also included.

This room also serves as the testing room where web browser compatibility tests were done.

When everything has been cleaned and streamlined, when navigation are tested to be seamless and easy, then we are now ready to launch your new website!

FIFTH HUB: THE LAUNCHING ROOM

This final stage involves rigorous and thorough testing across all platforms. We want to make sure that your website and all its information will be presented in both PC and Mac with its contents and designs intact. We’ll make sure that your websites will look the same if opened on all browsers and the latest versions of AOL, netscape navigator, safari and internet explorer.

Your keywords will be generated by our SEO team and submitted to search engines. Our SEO aims to put you on top list when your keyword search is hit.

Stability and security of your site will be highly considered while being accessible to all your possible target market. We carefully take into consideration your target audience with 56.6K dial-up connections by developing lowest common denominator standard of 4.0 or greater browsers. Servers are fully tested and problems that may arise had been researched and contingency plans were marked. Rest assured that our technical support team is ready to help you when technical problems arise.

Dagupan City is all set to join the ivy league of information and technology destinations in the country today.

City administrator Alvin Fernandez said Dagupan has been identified the strongest contender as regional hub of information and technology development in Northern Luzon to participate in the 8th e-Services Philippines’ 2008 Global Sourcing Conference and Exhibition dubbed as “New Wave Cities” Expo.

PIXELHUB New Media supports the Breast Cancer Awareness Month and Pink for October campaign. Their website says, “Web sites will Go Pink during the month of October to bring attention to Breast Cancer Awareness Month, get people talking about breast cancer, and raise money for research.”
